The Science Source In-House Design Team is composed of highly trained and qualified illustrators, photographers and designers who are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Maxon Cinema 4D, and Autodesk Mudbox, as well as classical rendering techniques.

Meet the Illustration and Photography Team

Evan Oto, Certified Medical Illustrator: Evan is a Board Certified Medical Illustrator and member of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI). He earned his B.F.A. in Medical Illustration at Rochester Institute of Technology and specializes in 3D anatomic modeling, molecular visualization, and surgical illustration. Evan has accumulated hundreds of hours of experience through human cadaver labs and live surgical observations, and has had several pieces of artwork featured in the annual AMI Salon.  View Portfolio.

Monica Schroeder, Illustrator, Photographer and Web Designer: A graduate of the Hunter College Fine Arts Drawing Program, Monica has continued her arts & technical education at New York University, Pratt University, Parson's School of Design, Art Student's League of New York, and The New School University. Her work has appeared in Time Magazine, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal and many other publications worldwide. Spencer Sutton, Illustrator and Photographer: Spencer Sutton has a degree in Studio Art from Connecticut College. His work has been published by National Geographic, Scholastic Press, NPR and many more. In addition, he has shown his art in galleries throughout New York City, including the Greenpoint Gallery, Secret Project Robot and the Wix Event Space. View Portfolio.

Emily Ciosek, Illustrator and Videographer: is a biomedical illustrator specializing in anatomical and surgical topics. She received her BFA in medical Illustration from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Kendall College of Art and Design, and is on track to becoming a certified medical illustrator.
